Meet The Staff
People WORK in this building? WHO are they? WHAT do they do?
Let us introduce to you the Residential Life Staff members responsible for running your building:
RAs or Resident Assistants are student leaders who live on your floor, are available as a resource to the college and more specifically to Housing and Residence Life; they will plan events, enforce policies and procedures and help with any issues you may experience as a resident student. RAs work closely with the professional staff member in your building known as the Resident Director (RD).
RDs or Resident Directors are professional live-in staff that are also here to aid any questions, concerns, comments and especially compliments that you may have of your residence hall. There is always an RA from each building and an RD on duty each night to ensure the health and safety of residents.
*Remember, we are certainly here to help with any of your needs, but we also support your personal development and growth. Please visit the Links & Resources page to see where you can go and what you can do about anything from a paper cut to an important conversation with your roommates!

During her academic career at Nazareth she served as an RA for two years while also participating in several clubs and organizations on campus. She spent the year after her graduation as a Resident Director at Keuka College where she was also the adviser for BAKU, GSU and the Step team. Dawn joins us most recently from Nazareth, where she served as an Area Director for 2 years as well as the adviser for the Inter-ethnic Nazareth Coalition (INC) and the Class of 2011. Her hobbies include salsa dancing, event planning, and community service. She is also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc! Her office is located on the first floor of Canal, near the front desk...please stop by and say hi!
Meet the Resident Assistants of West Canal Hall:
1st Floor RA:
Seairrah Warters: grew up in a small town called Interlaken which is located in the heart of the finger lakes. Seairrah graduated from South Seneca High School in 2006 and is currently finishing up her Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology. In her spare time Seairrah likes to read, eat, dance, watch movies, hangout with friends and play basketball. As a returning RA Seairrah is very excited to meet new people, and to continue to help her fellow residents. :)
2nd Floor RAs:
Andrew Reynolds: was born on June 15th, 1990 into a family of four. I have two older brothers, Mike and Kyle. Kyle just finished his academy with the Sheriff's and Mike works as a chemist for Johnson and Johnson. My parents bought a cottage that we fixed up as a family, and that's where we spend most of our summers, together. I'll be a sophomore this year, and have already changed my major from business, to physical education, and now Criminal Justice. As of right now I am considering Albany and Plattsburg to further my education after MCC, but I'm not quite sure. Besides spending time with my family, my favorite hobby is going to the gym. I am easy-going, but know where my loyalties lie, and always stick up for my opinions and beliefs. Last year, I worked as a CA in Canal Hall, and can't wait to start this journey as an RA!
Angelique Boea: was born and raised in Syracuse,New York. When home for break she lives with my parents and older brother. Angelique has been cheerleading since the age of 6. She cheered for her high school for 3 years and was captain for two. She also cheered for MCC this past year and plans on cheerleading again this year. Angelique graduated from Nottingham High School in 08. Her major at MCC is elementary education and she plans on going on to further my education in the education field.
3rd Floor RAs:
Shannon Mayette: is from Waddington NY. It's known as the carp capital of the world...yuck...and is a very small town where everyone knows everyone. Shannon graduated in '07 with a class the size of 50 people. She is an only child and loves animals.. but not the creepy crawling ones. Since Shannon and her family live on the St. Lawrence River, they spend lots of their time boating and fishing. Shannon been riding horses since she was 4 years old as well as figure skating since that age too.
Chris Glogogowski: I go by Chris Glog because my name is too hard to pronounce. I grew up in a little place called Holley, which is 5 minutes west of Brockport, NY. I'm the only child. My parents split when I was 3, and no more siblings for me. I have 2 step brothers from the other marriage, both of them kick ass. I work for my father and grandfather doing land surveying and love every minute of it. Unfortunately there is no money in it, so I am now at MCC for Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning. I went to RIT for New Media Publishing (which is just a glorified name for printing) and realized it was way to pricey for me to stay...so I left. Most of my time I spend trying to work on cars or boats. Sometimes things go as planned; other times it turns out to be a disaster. I have a 1984 Mazda RX7 I play with on the side. That takes all my cash money. I’m a fun person, come over and hang.
