  Welcome to West Canal Hall! We are so excited to have you beginning or continuing your academic journey with us and thank you for looking to this site as a resource! As a resident student in West Canal Hall you will not be disappointed by the experience you have here, as there is always plenty to get involved in and people to meet. On move in day, September 6th, you will be greeted by a number of staff members, both RAs and RDs. Resident Assistants (RAs) are student leaders who live on each floor. Resident Directors (RDs)  are professional live-in staff members. With 2 RDs and 11 RAs in Canal total, you will not have a hard time finding help if you need it. You can learn more about us under the Meet The Staff section of this website. You also might notice the other sections including Upcoming Events, Important Dates, Photo Gallery etc. Upcoming Events will contain all activities that are happening during the first week of school called WOW (Week of Welcome). However throughout the school year, you may utilize this section to find out programs that are happening within the building! Check back to the Important Dates section throughout the school to learn more about break closings, academic timelines and other important dates set forth by the college. We do not have many pictures under our photo gallery, but there will be some starting in the fall. I encourage you to e-mail me pictures of you and your friends hanging out in the residence halls and I will be happy to post them. The Links & Resources page leads you to the websites of those offices that you may come into contact with frequently. This section also includes tips and tricks to living with a roommate. I suggest if this is your first time living with someone, to view that document. If this is not your first time, a refresher could never hurt! Finally, there is info regarding housing  for upcoming semesters and a link to all the different clubs and organizations available for you to join. I hope that you visit this site frequently throughout the school year as it can be one of your greatest resources as a resident of West Canal Hall.
