Welcome to Tribune Hall!
I am so excited to have you as a member of this residential community. Tribune Hall is a vibrant and exciting part of campus life here at MCC. Our residence hall program is designed to provide you opportunities for cultural, recreational, social, and academic growth. We look forward to spending time with you getting to know you and helping you to navigate college life here at MCC.
Tribune Hall is home to 137 students in four person suites with individual bedrooms (a few suites have double rooms), two bathrooms, a full kitchen and a living area. This suite will be your home for the year, so I encourage you and your suitemates to make it feel like home by each adding your personal touch.
There are several staff members to help guide you in your college career. One professional Resident Director (RD), and three Resident Assistants (RA’s).
RA’s or Resident Assistants are student leaders who live on your floor and are available as a resource. They will plan events, enforce policies and procedures and help with any issues you may experience as a residential student.
RDs are professional live-in staff that are also here to aid with any questions, concerns, comments that you may have while living on campus. In addition, RD’s also help with planning programs, and enforcing policies and procedures. The RA’s and RD’s work very closely together.
As you embark on the start of what I hope will be one of the best experiences of your life, I encourage you to take advantage of the leadership, involvement and services opportunities that are available to you. You can find out about all the opportunities via our website.
The Tribune Hall staff cannot wait to meet you. So be prepared to have a fun and exciting year full of new friendships and new experiences.
Sincerely, Margaret, Tribune Resident Director
