Scholars' Day 2013

The Scholars' Day Committee would like to thank all the students, faculty, staff, and guests who made Scholars' Day 2013 into a tremendous success.

Scholars' Day 2013 culminated in the main event on Saturday, April 27. Over 400 people crowded the MCC theater to see the keynote speaker for 2013, Robert Ballard, renowned maritime archeologist and explorer whose shipwreck discoveries include the RMS Titanic, the battleship Bismarck, and John F. Kennedy's PT-109. The DCC Colloquium on April 24, drew a full house for the keynote address by Arlette Miller-Smith. The 2013 schedule is online.

NEW: Scholars' Day Review CALL FOR PAPERS.

Scholars' Day at MCC is an event dedicated to showcasing the work of student researchers and faculty. Scholars’ Day celebrates academic excellence while promoting and encouraging scholarship among MCC faculty, staff, and students.
