About Us!
MCC Pride Alliance's mission is to EDUCATE students, faculty, staff, administration, and the general public on issues concerning the GLBTQA (Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Trangender, Questioning, and Ally) community. Our goals are to organize events at MCC, and around the Rochester community, that will help with this awareness and education, while having fun and meeting new, supportive people. Some ways to accomplish this is to bring in speakers, hold discussions, show GLBTQA related films, etc. We're also aiming to collaborate with other MCC clubs/organizations to reach our goals, along with raising funds needed to run and support the club. The Pride Alliance club offers a safe, non-violent and non-discriminatory place for all GLBTQ persons, and of course, our Straight allies!
