One of the greatest things about Phi Theta Kappa (after all the friends you can make) are all the scholarships you can qualify for.  You cannot imagine how much money is actually out there available to you and all have to do is apply.  Please stop in the Phi Theta Kappa office, 3-133 during office hours or check out the Phi Theta Kappa International site and look under scholarships  http://www.ptk.org/schol/welcome.htm to find out more.

TRANSFER SCHOLARSHIPS: As a Phi Theta Kappa member you automatically quality to receive transfer scholarships to participating schools.   Check with the financial aid department of the institution you are applying to, to see if they offer Phi Theta Kappa transfer scholarships.  Then fill out the waiver/transfer form on the Current Members  page and turn it in to the Office of Student Life and Leadership Development, 3-126.  We will send out a letter(s) to the schools you are applying to verifying your membership.

FRANK LANZA SCHOLARSHIPS

Students seeking associate degrees in registered nursing, respiratory care or emergency medical services  are invited to apply for the Frank Lanza Memorial Scholarship. Up to 25 scholarships of $1,000 each will be awarded to students to help defray costs of associate degree studies. Eligibility requirements and Application information is available online. Applications completed online must be received by no later than midnight, October 17, 2011.
