Personal

I am a full-time instructor in the department of Chemistry and Geosciences at Monroe Community College.  I completed my M.S. from the University of Delaware in Geography where I conducted research on the North Slope of Alaska.  My thesis: "Frost Heave and Thaw Settlement in Tundra Environments: Applications of Differential Global Positioning System Technology", has produced numerous publications.  I have a Teaching Credential in Geosciences and a B.S.in Atmospheric Science, both from the University of California Davis.

I am married to my wife Erika and have two beautiful girls.  I was born in Goleta, CA (near Santa Barbara).  I have been fortunate enough to travel to Nepal, Thailand, 48 states, Canada, Mexico and western Europe.  I enjoy cross country skiing, rollerhockey, tennis, and love to travel.
