About Me

I have always been interested in Biology for as long as I can remember.  I earned my B.Sc. in Biology and my M.Sc. in Microbiology at Tel-Aviv University in Israel.   I earned my Ph.D. in Microbiology at University of Pennsylvania.  I began working at Monroe Community College in 1987 and have enjoyed each and every day.  I teach a variety of courses including:

  • Consumer Nutrition (Bio 117)
  • Microbiology (Bio 202)
  • Biology of HIV and AIDS (Bio 137)
  • Essentials of Biology (Bio 120)
  • General Biology 1 (Bio 155)

My schedule is posted on my door (8-226) and you are welcome to come by anytime especially during my office hours.
