Computer and Gaming Technology Club

Friday, Feb. 26th LAN PARTY INFO!!!

It's a brand new semester and the Computer and Gaming Tech Club is hard at work planning new and fun events for people to be a part of. The first order of business is the upcoming LAN Party featuring the game Nexuiz. The date for the first LAN Party is Friday, February 26th 2010. Please sign up for the tournament by February 25th so that you can be given a time slot to play at. If we get more than 15 people, we will be dividing everyone who registers into teams of 3 so that we can better organize the tournament and have designated times for people to show up. The tournament starts at 1PM and goes until 4PM.

Here's what you'll need to sign up:
1. Your E-Mail address we can contact you with to give you time and team info.
2. $5 registration fee payable by cash or card.
3. An optional list of up to 2 teammates that you will be playing with (teammates must also be registered).
4. The hour you would like to play (1PM, 2PM, or 3PM).

There will be prizes for the winning team and you'll have a blast, we promise! Check out the "Past Events" page for last year's photos of the winners, their prizes, and people having a good time. The game is free to download and play so check it out at http://www.alientrap.org/nexuiz/. Gameplay takes place on campus in a networking lab. You may bring your own computer to play on if you like, just make sure the game will run on it first.
