Welcome!

Spring 2008

Greetings and a warm welcome from the Campus Ministry Office. This is my first year also, so together we can look to new beginnings and a year filled with work, study, adventure, new challenges and good times. I have always found that the gifts that young adults bring to our churches are diverse and inspirational. We are called as a people of God to acknowledge, support, and encourage those gifts in all of those who serve in the name of God.

The Campus Ministry Office at MCC will be committed to assisting young men and women on campus by forming a faith community offering support and guidance wherever and whenever necessary. This will be made possible through appropriate liturgical, spiritual, educational, service and community building programs. The Office will provide for the pastoral and sacramental needs of the Catholic faith community.

As a part of the diverse life of any college or university, campus ministry is an evangelizing presence in a complex and multi-faceted world. The Campus Ministry Office is open to all. I look forward to meeting you and coming to a deeper, richer understanding of life, our world, and its creator. With ongoing interaction we can all grow in mutual dignity and respect united in peace and harmony.
