Welcome to Alexander Hall!
Hello and welcome to the residence life community at MCC. Being a student living in the residence halls on campus is a wonderful opportunity for you to meet new people, get involved in programs, take leadership roles, and grow as an individual. I encourage you to reach out to our residence life staff and get to know your residence hall.
Living in Alexander Hall brings you that much closer to campus and enhances your opportunity to be a part of student clubs and organizations, campus events, sports teams, and many other aspects of the campus community. Take that step to get involved and you will be able to open new doors for your time at MCC and beyond.
There are several staff members to help guide you in your college career. One professional Resident Director (RD), and three Resident Assistants (RA’s).
RA’s or Resident Assistants are student leaders who live on your floor and are available as a resource. They will plan events, enforce policies and procedures and help with any issues you may experience as a residential student.
RDs are professional live-in staff that are also here to aid with any questions, concerns, comments that you may have while living on campus. In addition, RD’s also help with planning programs, and enforcing policies and procedures. The RA’s and RD’s work very closely together.
Sincerely, Chris Hamm, Alexander Hall Resident Director
