October 2009 Solution
There was an error in this month's puzzler. There were actually only two of the numbers that couldn't be created as opposed to the three that we indicated. Those numbers were 18 and 24. Anyone giving 22 out of the 25 numbers were given puzzle solver status.
Please note that * represents the multiplication operator.
While there are a variety of expressions that can be used to create each number, we present only one example for each.

1 = 3 – 2 |
13 = 33 – (22 – 2) |
|
2 = 3 * 22 / 33 |
14 = 33 – (22 – 3) |
|
3 = 2 * 33 / 22 |
15 = (33 – 3) / 2 |
|
4 = (33 – 22 – 3) / 2 |
16 = 22 – 2 * 3 |
|
5 = 33 – 22 – 2 * 3 |
17 = 22 – 2 – 3 |
|
6 = 2 * 3 |
19 = 22 – 3 |
|
7 = 22 – [(33 – 3) / 2] |
20 = 22 – 2 |
|
8 = 33 – 22 – 3 |
21 = 22 – (3 – 2) |
|
9 = 33 – 22 – 2 |
22 = (33 – 22) * 2 |
|
10 = 33 – 22 – (3 – 2) |
23 = 22 – (2 – 3) |
|
11 = 33 – 22 |
25 = 33 – (22 / 2 – 3) |
|
12 = 33 – 22 – (2 – 3) |
