FA Contract Ratified on April 9, 2008

Three hundred thirty-four members (334) voted on April 9, 2008. The contract was ratified by a vote of 309/25. Our sincere thanks for the great turnout and member support. Our thanks to the poll watchers and voting coordinators for their efforts.

The FA Negotiating Teams will begin meeting after spring break to formulate the contract language related to the agreed-upon changes. The contract will be approved by the Board of Trustees, signed by the parties and printing will begin. Once the agreement is signed and printed, the new contract will be put onto the FA Website, the College website and hard copies will be available.

Remember, the terms of the new contract do not go into effect until 9-1-08. The current contract is still available on-line and in hard-copy form. Thank you.
