About Dues

As a member of the Faculty Association bargaining unit, and in accordance with Article 3 of our contractual agreement, all faculty who are covered by the contract are required to pay a fee called "agency fee." This means that if you are covered by the FA contract, a fee for this service is mandatory. These fees (which will be called "dues" if you become a member) will be deducted from your pay between 9/17/09 until 6/10/10 for this academic year. Dues or agency fees are not deducted over the summer, although your membership is for the entire year. THE COST OF "AGENCY FEE" AND "DUES" ARE THE SAME!
